Some Questions and Answers about wind turbines and the Hempnall proposal.

There is a huge amount of information, and disinformation, on the subject of wind energy. All too often the evidence is conflicting and there are few absolute facts.

Enertrag UK, and wind power station developers like them, try to convince us that wind energy will save the planet, and therefore anyone who challenges them must be in favour of planetary destruction. Of course, they are a commercial company, whose vested interest is in the financial return from their investment. They develop wind farms to make money.

Despite the hype from both sides of the argument, there is growing evidence from wind power stations already operating in Britain and around the world which suggests that there are plenty of valid reasons why we shouldn't accept everything the developers tell us.

Our aim is to re-balance the argument; to challenge the statements of the developers; to examine the potential costs and benefits of the Hempnall proposal for ourselves; and to give people the information to enable them to make up their own minds.
