CPRE (Norfolk) is opposed to TCI's application. In their submission to SNC, they state that the tranquillity of the area is threatened, "CPRE Norfolk consider that the scheme planned for Hempnall would have a major impact on the landscape and that turbines should not be built in this attractive, rural and tranquil part of the county."
Their submission ends, "CPRE Norfolk considers that the adverse impact the proposed turbines would have on their site and on the surrounding countryside would be severe. An attractive, rural area and its much valued landscape assets would undergo a fundamental change. The current harmonious balance between the natural and built environment would be destroyed by the introduction of huge, essentially industrial structures. We therefore oppose planning application 2013/0105."
