His report says, “While I feel that the removal of T2 has reduced the impact on these heritage assets, I would still suggest that the remaining three do harm the setting of the Church and the conservation area. The scale of the turbines would challenge the present prominence of the church in the approach to the village from the east, while their viewpoint 04 shows all three would be visible from the church and the churchyard.
Recommendation; the turbines would cause harm to the setting of St Margaret’s church Hempnall and be contrary to NPPF paragraph 134 It would also fail to preserve the setting of the church and be contrary to section 66 of the Planning (Listed buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990”
